The training department at South Coast Hospice provides the following training courses:

1. Palliative Home Based Care Course
2. HIV/AIDS Counselling
3. Distance Palliative Care Nursing for Professional and Enrolled Nurses
4. Introduction to Palliative Care
5. Grief, Loss and Bereavement Course
6. A short course in Home Based Care for family members and friends who are providing care and support to someone incapacitated by age or illness.

Training of the above courses is provided by professional facilitators with many years of training experience.
