Leave a Legacy
We build up a lifetime of things that are precious to us and as we grow older, we realise the necessity of having a will in place to make life easier for those whom we leave behind. Most people have the need to leave their “mark” in life, their personal “monument in remembrance” of who they were and how they would like others to remember them.
Bequests are gifts to family members, friends, employees and charities, specified in wills. It could be any of the following:
Hospice’s mission in providing quality palliative care to terminally ill patients touches your heart; here is how to go about it:
We suggest that you contact a professional (attorney, your bank, or current holder of your will) to advise you on the correct and legal wording of your bequest. A bequest is a small change and a codicil may be added to your will. You need not have an entirely new will drawn up unless you would like to bring other changes to it, or if you don’t have a will in place yet.
If you have already included a gift to South Coast Hospice, please let us know as we would like to thank you personally. Please contact us should you require any further information about our organisation and our programmes or your intended bequest.
South Coast Hospice and our patients would like to express our sincere gratitude towards your kindness and generosity as your gift is precious and valuable. Your gift can make a great difference in the quality of life of the terminally ill, as well as help them retain their dignity.
